General Description: Hatfield’s portfolio of wildlife and terrestrial biophysical work continues to grow, with exciting projects throughout BC and Alberta. This full-time position presents a tremendous opportunity for an experienced and energetic individual to play a key role in the ongoing development of our Wildlife Group.

The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge and understanding of wildlife/terrestrial ecology in BC, and related federal and BC provincial legislation. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects related to wildlife assessment and monitoring in western and northern Canada, and for providing senior direction and support to marketing and business development activities related to wildlife.
Duties will consist of design and management of field programs, data analysis and interpretation, preparation of study reports and advising clients on regulatory requirements, environmental risks, and opportunities, in relation to infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will also provide mentoring of junior and intermediate wildlife and terrestrial biophysical scientists. The role will be fully supported by Hatfield’s Senior Managers and Partners, and the many experienced environmental professionals across the company.
